We're working on adding in other apps and productivity tools so you can personalize the sidebar to work best for you. This month, we're excited to share that you can now add third-party websites, see notifications for both first- and third-party sites, use Outlook for easy multitasking, use YouTube for a different kind of multitasking, and we sprinkled in some messenger and music apps. Since the recent introduction of the sidebar in Microsoft Edge, the team has been working on improving not only the experience but options available within this browser addition! The sidebar already has the ability to be resized to a width that fits your needs, lets you create custom names for websites you added, and apps that play sounds will show you when they are playing - you can even hover over the speaker icon to access that app's media controls.
